God First

Wisdom can be defined as a DECODING process of what and how God expects you and I to live our lives! The Bible has various scriptures that magnify the significance of wisdom. The below two scriptures highlight how important wisdom is in our lives.

Ecclesiastes 2:13 states, “Wisdom is of more value than foolishness, just as light is better than darkness.”

Ecclesiastes 2:26 states, “God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. Even this, however, is meaningless, like chasing the wind.”

You and I need to change the way we think. You and I need to look at life differently to craft a better eternal future. In my heart and mind, the words of the song “Control”, by Tenth Avenue North, is the perfect reality of how we should think of the grace and mercy of God “...God you don’t need me, but somehow, you want me. Oh, how you must love me, somehow that frees me, to take my hands off of my life,...to open my hands up, and give you control...the King of heaven wants me, so this world has lost its grip on me." ~ Regeline Sabbat
