I’ll never forget a few years ago during my last week of training I was so excited to hit my goal, but then “bam”, I heard a pop in my knee and just like that I was out of the gym for a few months, which was required by my doctor, and I listened to his advice. 


After being cleared by my doctor to return to the gym, I did. 




Training is very important. And, action is required to achieve your goal. 


If you need assistance I highly recommend obtaining a fitness coach/expert. I am merely sharing my experience as a mentee. 


I am grateful for the fitness coaches I have had on my fitness journey, you know who you are- Thank you!

If you told me I'd be running a marathon back then, most likely I wouldn’t believe it. 


I literally let go and let God and it is by the grace of God I am able to run. 

I am grateful I was able to run my first 5k in January in 2023, and my first 10k in January 2024, and I am grateful to run my first half-marathon in May 2024, and God willing more marathons in the future.


Strength training 

Strength training is truly significant.

Nutrition is truly significant.


I’ve been a pescatarian for about 12 years and I love it! 




Resting is truly significant. 


In regard to running, I am aware some days you just want to run more, however it is truly significant to rest. 


Runners must rest, this way we remain fueled for our next run! -Gigi Sabbat




Regardless of what you have been told, you can workout at your age. Yes! You! The point is you are never too old to workout! 

     Lastly, it is significant to know regardless of your job title or even if you are retired, you can find time to workout, and make certain to have balance/ time management in regard to your workout routine. You can do this! Take the first step towards your fitness goal today!
